The owner was very friendly and helpful. I had a early start as was staying on business and she happily provided breakfast 45 mins earlier than stated times.

Everything was good, nice staff, pleasant views to their garden. The location was marvellous and stunning, close to everything you want to do in Chester, in the lovely area. And it was not too far away from The Shanghai Restaurant, ate there couple of times.

Welcoming and informative host. Good facilities in the room and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had good quality ingredients perfectly cooked. 20 minute walk from Chester city centre which is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Chester.

The location here is great as you can easily walk from the train station, and I loved that the breakfast is freshly made with a variety of cereals and delicious bread, and the staff were very helpful.

We were welcomed by the lady of the house when we arrived good start to our stay. Lovely house not to big very friendly, car park on site, church across the rd.which chimed on the quater hr.but not intrusive. 25Mins walk from the bb into center but if you didnt want to walk there is a good bus service just down the rd. That ran every 10mins. We would stay again if we came back to chester.

It was perfect. The owner was really nice and helpful. The room was very clean. It looked new to be honest. Parking was great and the owner let us keep our car on the drive after checking out while we walked into town for the morning. Very kind, as carparks cost a small fortune. I always have the full English, which as we all know can vary greatly from place to place. The breakfast here was excellent. Beautifully cooked and served by the most friendly chap a guest house could employ. (Never change your lotto numbers eh mate!) Highly recommended. We will be returning the Lavender in the near future. I don't think my partner has finished shopping yet!

From the minute you arrived until the minute you left it was a warm friendly atmosphere . Nothing was to much trouble and our hosts were outstandingly good. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The garden was a joy to see and set off a perfect place to stay. I would recommend any one who goes to Chester try and get into the Lavender Lodge, you will not regret it I promise you.
